Choose a clear first product range
Start with a focused group of products you can explain, fulfill and support reliably. Review stock depth, variant complexity and contribution margin. Launching every available SKU can make it harder to identify which product has the strongest fit for creator demonstrations. A smaller, coherent range gives the team a clearer starting point.
Check the customer-facing details
Review product names, variant labels, images and descriptions together. A shopper should understand what is included, which option to select and what problem the product addresses. Remove unsupported claims and reconcile any differences between the listing and the packaging. The product presented in a video should match the product delivered.
Test the operational handoff
Document who owns inventory updates, shipping questions, returns and customer messages. If Shopify or another system is connected, verify a representative product and order flow through the supported integration. An attractive storefront is only useful when the operational process behind it is dependable.
Prepare creators before increasing volume
Write a short product brief with accurate facts, useful demonstration ideas and a clear contact person. Decide how sample requests will be evaluated and tracked. Avoid approving more samples than the team can monitor. Your first creator cohort should help you learn about product positioning as well as produce content.
Define a useful first review
Review listing readiness, customer questions, content production and early purchasing signals. Compare products using similar time periods and note stockouts or promotions. The first review should identify the next bottleneck to fix. It should not turn a few early orders into a promise about future growth.
